He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Louis Swenor; and his siblings-in-law, Michael, Tom, Steve Swenor and Sharon Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tilly (Swenor); his children, Mark Tilly, Jr., Tony Tilly, Sarah Hendra (Ron) and Janet Helsten (Robert); his grandchildren, Harmony, Mariah, Dylan Helsten and Dillon Tilly; and his siblings, Diane Tilly, David Tilly (Shari) and Robert Tilly (Gina). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
