She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burnette and Leona Burnette (Carriere); her husband Dominic J. Jacobetti; and her siblings, Leslie Burnette, June Johnson and Beatrice Duhame.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Furey (Eugene) of Crystal Lake, IL, Colin Jacobetti (Paulette) of Iron Mountain and Dominic 'Dukey' Jacobetti, Jr. (Sharleen 'Sis' Bianchi) of Negaunee; and her grandchildren, Michael Furey, Lisa Furey, Steven Furey (Jamie), Colette Choryan (Gerard), Lora Dynek (Kurt), Colin Jacobetti (Lorrie), Shelly Weeks (Michael), Dominic Jacobetti, III (Lisa), Tony Jacobetti (Danielle), Julie Jacobetti (Jeff Dauphinais) and Traci Jacobetti. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Marie's memory to the 'NMU Foundation' to support the D.J. Jacobetti Education Scholarship at Northern Michigan University, and/or UP Home Health and Hospice.
