He is survived by: his parent Anne Mitchell (Pietro); his wife Mary Ann Mitchell of Negaunee; and his nephews, Les Kowalski, Steven Kowalski, Dennis Mitchell and Bob DellAngelo. He is also survived by niece and his God-child Jordan Kowalski along with other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
