It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louella Belle Carlson (Negaunee, Michigan), born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kamrath and Florence Kamrath (Fuller); her adoptive parents, Walter Gabel and Nora Gabel; her husband Raymond Carlson; and her brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Rollin and Richard Kamrath.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Lynn) of Negaunee Township, David Carlson (Lynne) of Negaunee Township, Susie James (Dennis) of Negaunee Township, Lori Carlson (Clifford) of Negaunee and Julie Peterson of St. Augustine, FL; and her grandchildren, Aaron (Mindi), Amy Carlson, David Carlson, Kenny Carlson (Nicole), Mary Ghiardi, Jesse Barabe (Diana), Luke Barabe, Teresa Jo Coker (Drew), Amanda Poland (Devin), Sarah Hill (Matt), Taylor and Lauren Peterson. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
