Lillian Wakkuri Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Wakkuri (Negaunee, Michigan), born in Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lameo 'Flinko' Wakkuri; her siblings, Charlotte Priebe, Eunice Miller, Jon Priebe and David Priebe; her brothers-in-law, Allan Wakkuri and Leon 'Butch'; and her nephew Greg Mager.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Wakkuri of Palmer and Jon Wakkuri of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Patricia Johns (Milton) of Marquette, Linda Niemi (Ron) of National Mine and Walter Priebe of Skandia; her sister-in-law Alice Wakkuri; and her close friend Joyce Swanson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may directed in Mrs. Wakkuri's memory to UPAWS, 815 S. State Highway M553, Gwinn, MI 49841.
