It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Maynard Blandford of Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Blandford and Marie Blandford (Williams); and his brother Leon Blandford. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Blandford; his children, Vikki Hamblin (Henry) and Andrew Blandford (Michelle Sokolowski); his grandchildren, Geoff Blandford (Samantha Van Liden), Gavin Blandford (Alexia Basner), Noah Blandford, Aaden Blandford, Alyssa Blandford and Sadie Blandford; his great grandchildren, Oliver Blandford, Alteria and Evan Wernholm; and his siblings, Lane Blandford, Les Blandford and Lindsay Blandford.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the NorthIron Church (910 Palms Ave, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
