He was predeceased by: his father Richard Argall; his stepfather Robert Anderson; and his brother Paul Argall. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Argall (Thompson) of Negaunee; his mother Marilyn Anderson of Ishpeming; his daughters, Alison Argall of Negaunee and Colleen Argall (Joel Wilks) of Australia; his grandchildren, Courtney Argall, Christopher Miller, Nicholas Miller and Liam Wilks; his brother Gerald Argall (Shirley); his father-in-law Robert C. Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Argall, Melanie Johnson (Randy), Robert D. Thompson (Gail) and Dan Thompson (Claudia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
