She is survived by: her husband Brian Borchert of Negaunee; her son Carl Wikstrom; her stepchildren, Desarae Waara (Shane) and Seth Fortin; her granddaughter Kayla Hiltunen; her siblings, Joseph Ryerse of Negaunee and Lisa Ryerse of Skandia; and her friend Carolyn Hilling of Negaunee.
