She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hartwig and Genevieve Hartwig (Schounard); her husband Louis W. Chiri of Negaunee; and her siblings, Barbara MacArthur and Robert Hartwig.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Boettcher (Steve) of Marquette, Jack Schroeder (Pamela) of Crivitz, WI, Hank Schroeder (Julie) of Green Bay and Chad Schroeder (Lisa) of Crivitz; and her former husband Jack L. Schroeder of Crivitz. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
