He is survived by: his significant other Rachel Asgaard; his son Eric Lovern (Cory) of Ishpeming; his stepchildren, Deanna Sved (Robert) and Dennis VanAbel (Cheryl); his grandson Riley Lovern; his stepgrandchildren, Ella, Lola, McKenna, Beau and Shane; his grandchildren, Luke, Morgan, Taylor and Connor; his siblings, Freddie Lovern (Theresa), Jerry Lovern (Jane), Shirleane Luokkala (Pete), Jean Steele Hodges (Earl), Hazel Ager (Charles), Linda Steele (Kelly), Fay Adams (Buddy) and Nina Eanes; and also, April Harkins (Brian) and Craig Asgaard (Nola). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
