He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Zanetti (Peterson); his daughters, Natalie Dhamers (Robert) of Marquette, Suzanne Macario (Joseph) of Princeton and Gina Wilson (Paul) of Skandia; his grandchildren, Andrew (Elissa Beacco), Bradley Macario, Kayla Dhamers and Neo Wilson; his brother Dennis Zanetti (Barbara) of Texas; his brother-in-law John Erickson (Susan); and his sister Julie Erickson. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in his memory to the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans Memory Care Unit.
