She was predeceased by: her parents, Sulo Harju and Gertrude Harju (Marjonen); her husband Wayne Connors; her granddaughter Shannon Liquia; and her brothers, Dennis, Dwayne, Donald and Sulo Harju, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Renee Liquia of South Lyon, Connie Champion (Randy) of Negaunee, Paula Connors, Wendy Champion (Rick) of Whitehall, Michigan, Dennis Connors of Pensacola and Troy Connors (Caitlin) of Marquette; her grandchildren, Stacy McEachern (Mark), Mandi Welbes (William), Jessica Garnsey, Joanna Zillner (Jordan), Michael Liquia (Shelley), Adam Liquia (Jessica), Wayne Champion, Tiffany Connors, James Champion, Taylor Connors, Roger Champion and Travis Connors; her siblings, Paula Rautio (Al) of Palmer and Mike Harju (Cindy) of Negaunee Township; her sister-in-law Chris Harju; and her godchildren, Dennis Croschere, Nick Marjonen, Tammy, Sandy Beauchaine, Becky Harju, Jamie Harju, Holly Rasanen, Tony Cass, Todd Cass and Lucinda Harju. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Mrs. Connors memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Negaunee.
