He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Koivuniemi, and Clara Mae Koivuniemi, Sr. (Hoff); and his brother Matthew. He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Hall (Gary) of Mesa, AZ, Kathleen Haynes (Lee) of Marquette, Darlene Anderson (Paul) of Cedar Springs and Bonnie Koivuniemi of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
