He was predeceased by: his parents, Fere LaMere and Lena LaMere (Delarye); his daughter Marsha Valima; and his siblings, Robert, Alvin LaMere, Lorraine Laituri, Louise Liquia, Carmen Barbiere, Joanne LaMere, Margaret Kippola, Loretta Kecker, Nancy Hill and Delores LaMere.
He is survived by: his wife Viola LaMere (LaChance) of Suomi Location; his children, Ray LaMere (Gloria Sheck) of Midway Location, Gregg LaMere (Laurie Jacob) of Illinois, Louise Kobie (Daryl) of AuTrain, Gail Roose (Tom) of Palmer and Rita Laiho (Tim) of Suomi Location; his grandchildren, Gordy, Joni, Joe, Denise, Matt, David, Wayne, Nick, Janelle, Jessica, Bryan, Rachel, Casey, Kimberly, Erin and Kyle; and his siblings, Larry LaMere (Sandra), Judy Williams and Donis DeLong. He is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
