He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruesing and Marion Ruesing (Denofrio); his former wife Mary Ann Ruesing (Chiri); his wife Lois Ruesing (Dodendorf); his sons, Louis and Timothy Ruesing; his granddaughter Maria Ruesing; and his sister Margene Pinkerton (Bud).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ruesing (Jenny) of Richmond Township, John 'Sam' Ruesing (Lori) of Ishpeming and Gina Carriere (David) of Negaunee Township; his grandchildren, Anthony (Katie Hicks), Louis (Jeremy Ruesing), Bradley (Anna McBride) and Brianna (Isabella Ruesing); his great grandchildren, Matthew Rasanen and Louis Timothy Ruesing; his great great grandchildren, Hanna, Michael and McKenna; his sister Barbara Perala (Jack) of Negaunee; and his stepchildren, Fred Bye, Carolyn Claar and Kathryn Burns (Kevin). He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
