It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Hicks of Negaunee, Michigan, born in Perkins, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Peterson and Agnes Peterson (Miron); her husband Paul Hicks; her daughter Paula Louise Hicks; her grandson Jeremy Paul Hicks; and her siblings, Patricia Nelson, Louise Richards, Margaret Peterson and Joe Peterson.

She is survived by: her sons, Perry Hicks (Marcia) of Negaunee and Peter Hicks (Deborah) of Negaunee; her grandchildren, Lesli Williams (Casey), Sarah Hill (Bryan), Kimberly Torreano (Riley), Brinn Kruppstadt (Derek), Katie Hicks (Anthony Ruesing), Derek Hicks and Sarah Paquette (Justin Erskine); her great grandchildren, Olivia, June Torreano, Avabelle, Eloise Williams and Micah Hill; her sisters, Theresa Gerous (Adelore) of Escanaba and Eunice VanDecaveye of Escanaba; and her brothers-in-law, Arthur Hicks (Patricia) of Negaunee and Gordon Nelson of Gladstone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
