He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. LaJoie and Mary L. LaJoie (White); his son Jerome 'Jerry LaJoie; and his siblings, Patricia Sowden, Walter and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Larson (James) of Ishpeming and James LaJoie (Kim) of Marquette; and his grandchildren, Anne Daugherty (Joshua), Michael Larson (Bri), Lars Larson (Danielle), Larissa Buen (Tyler), Sarah Guidotti (Marco), Melissa LaJoie and Zach Buzzo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In accordance with COVID-19 precautions, anyone attending services is encouraged to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Mr. LaJoie's memory to the Negaunee Senior Center or the Superior Health Foundation.
