He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Elmer and Dollie Caroline Sarasin (Brunstrom); his wife Lois Sarasin; and his siblings, Raymond Sarasin, Bernice, Violet, Marjorie, Shirley, Irene and Eveline.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Sarasin (Sandy) of Marquette, Scott Sarasin (Andrea) of Milford and Stuart Sarasin (Kathy) of Marquette Township; his sister Phyllis Locke of Crystal Falls; and his grandchildren, Jason Sarasin, Chris Sarasin, Jenny Rundman, Alicia Savage, Tommy Sarasin, Julia Sarasin, Elena Sarasin, Michele Black, Kyle Sarasin and Sydney Sarasin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Elmer's memory to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Activity Fund.
