We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Edna Poirier (Negaunee, Michigan), born in Ishpeming, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aune Eleaner (Oysti) and William Andrew Laitinen; her husband William "Bill" Poirier; her son-in-law Jim Olson; and her siblings, Sen Majors and Edsel Laitinen.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Olson of Ishpeming Twp and Gary Poirier (Donna) of Negaunee; her grandchildren, Dean Olson (Megan), Jamie Brown (Brad), Sara Burgess and Kelly Syrjala (Doug); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Lexi Olson, Parker, Adison, Carter Brown, Jake and Lainey Burgess. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church 333 E. Ridge St. Ishpeming in memory of Edna.
