He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lowes and Stella Lowes (Anderson); and his siblings, Fred (Flora), Vern (Melvina), Harvey, Henry and Katherine Stufflebeam (Clyde).
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his sons, Brian (Cindy) of Ishpeming and David of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Richard of Ishpeming and Brianna of Ishpeming; and his siblings, Wayne (Nancy), John (Kathleen), Jim (Sandy), Dorothy Roxby (George) and Marjorie Whisner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Don's memory to UP Home Health & Hospice.
