Dennis Salmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Salmer (Negaunee, Michigan), who passed away on November 20, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Salmer and Dorothy Salmer (Oljymaki); his sister Sharon Skewis (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Jeannette Salmer and Bill Pepin.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Salmer; his children, Michael Salmer of Tilden Twp and Pam Rankinen (Wayne) of Tilden Twp; his grandchildren, Zack and Katie Rankinen; his siblings, Ronald Salmer (Vicki Maki) of Negaunee, Janet Skytta (Mike) of Marquette and Karen Pepin of Marquette; and his pet Maddie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Dennis' memory to the Westwood High School Sports Booster Club.
