He is survived by: his father Woodbridge; his siblings, David Makinen (Devin) of Negaunee Township, Janet Makinen of Ishpeming, Amy Makinen-Lehtinen (Terry) of Negaunee Township and Michelle Makinen (James Annala) of Ishpeming; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Daniel Juchemich, Dawsen Makinen, Kevin Mann, Jessica Mills, MaKenna Makinen and Olivia Jurmu. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
