He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; and also Jeannie. He is survived by: his children, Tracey Scott (Charlie) of Republic and William Bickford (Shanda) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sara Hammar, Caleb Hammar and David Bickford; his siblings, Douglas Kangas (Christie) of Iowa and Barbara Racine (Jim) of Ishpeming; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Kangas (Marcia), Timothy Kangas (Amy), Jeanne Racine, Kimberly Racine, Kelsey Racine and Todd Racine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Dale's memory to the Negaunee VFW or the Negaunee All Sports Booster Club.
