She was predeceased by: her parents, William Langson and Viola Langson (Olgren); her husband Johnnie Hillis; her siblings, William, Frederick Langson, Eunice Hebert, Viola Liubakka, Carol Joki, Florence Houseman, Sally McNally, Arlene Thexton and Lois Hill; and her son-in-law Robert Symons.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita Bonnie'Symons, Mary Boles (James Jr.) and Johnnie Hillis (Tami); her grandchildren, John O'Neill, Mitchell O'Neill (Krysten), Shawna Symons, Marissa Symons, Natasha Symons, Katrina Symons, Samantha Brodin and Tia Boles; and her great grandchildren, William Brodin, Jazmine Brodin and Annabella O'Neill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
