He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Stolnack and Celia Stolnack (Makela); and his siblings, Albert, John, James Stolnack, Bertha Anderson, Alma Syrjala, Ruth Nicholas, Ellen Nicholas and Sylvia Vercoe.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Patricia Stolnack of Farmington Hills. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
