He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hemmila (Isaacs) of Negaunee Twp; his daughters, Jodi Nease (Glenn) of Gwinn, Amy Stanaway (William) of Negaunee and Joy Aro (David) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lindsey, Joshua, Benjamin (Samantha), Ann (Steven), Olivia Sarah (Cameron), Jordan and Michael; his great grandchildren, Logan, Brody, Cole, Blair, Grayson, Vera, Desmond, Liam and Holden; and his siblings, Marilyn Wagner (Richard) of Negaunee and Paul Hemmila of Cromwell, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; along with a host of brothers and sisters.
