It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Waara (Negaunee, Michigan), who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brisson and Gladys Brisson (Jewell); her husband Ronald; her son Roger Waara; and her siblings, Donna Henthorne, Bill Brisson (Bob) and Jodi Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Ball (Ray), Lois Ellis, Ron Waara (Diane) of Negaunee, Darryl and Ponch; her sister Carol Sillanpaa of Des Moines, IA; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Waara of Negaunee; her grandchildren, Wendy Larson (Craig Robbert), Ron, Bucka, Kevin, Kurt Ball (Lori Reule), Chris Waara (Lori), Heather Burrus (Riley), Jonny (Barb), Mark (Sandy), Steven (Kristina), Brad Waara (Erika), Jeri Lynn (Brian Muladore) and Shanon Ellis (Jeremy Jackson); and her sisters-in-law, Lollie DeBeck and Ruth Brisson.
