We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2022, at the age of 88, Betty J. Sleeman-Nault of Negaunee, Michigan, born in Marquette, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Peterson and Agnes Peterson (Dorman); her daughter Karen Karki (Richard) of Negaunee; her former husband John 'Jack Sleeman, Sr.; her son John Sleeman, Jr.; her siblings, Ken, Richard, Randy Peterson, Shirley Bessix and Janet Peterson; and her great grandchild Max Baldini.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hawkins (Craig) of Howell, MI, Vickie Baldini (Jeff) of Ishpeming and Cindy Chapman (Jay) of Ishpeming; her grandchildren, Laura Ness (Marty), Craig Hawkins (Nicole), Bill Baldini, Michelle Trawick (David), Richard Karki, Jr. (April), Adam Karki (Leah), Jenifer Chapman (Dan Willett), Scott Chapman (Kelly) and Janine Jurasin (Dylan); her brother Phillip Peterson (Barb); her sister-in-law Carol Peterson; and her grandsons, Jesse Baldini and Rich Karki. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Betty's memory to a children's charity of your choice.
