He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Howard (Wise) and E. Arthur Howard; his daughter Kristol Simpson; and his sister Donna Schaub. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Howard of Negaunee and Kathleen Stein (Steve) of Cedarburg, WI; his grandchildren, Trevor Howard, Madeline and Samantha Stein; and his siblings, Nancy Priest of Lake Leelanau, Betty Keissel (Bill) of Suttons Bay and Bob Howard (Sharon) of Lake Leelanau. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
