She was predeceased by: her husband Severino 'Sonny Guizzetti; her sister Elaine Poirier (Joe); and her brother-in-law Francis Guizzetti. She is survived by: her children, Susan Hamel (John) of Humboldt Twp, Mary Jo Laakso (Jack) of Gillette, WY, Diane Guizzetti of LaPorte, IN and Paul Guizzetti (Sandra) of Tucson, AZ; and her grandchildren, David Helsten (Justina), Shawn Helsten (Tina), Brian Helsten, Brenda Virnig, Amy Ruetz (Carl), Steven Laakso (Angie), Eric Laakso (Cynthia), Anna Wilson (Joel), Monica Hampton (Larry Richmann), Travis Guizzetti (Shaly) and Jared Guizzetti. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In accordance with COVID-19 precautions, private funeral services will be held with Rev. Matt Osborne officiating, but family and friends are invited for a brief committal service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 8th at the Negaunee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Joyce's memory to the Marquette County Medical Care Facility Activity Fund, 200 Saginaw St., Ishpeming, MI 49849.
