Dowell; his children, Gary L Ackley, Brooke R (Rod Cantu), Andy (Sierra Cantu) and Bryce J Ackley; his grandchildren, Madison of Nickolas, RJ, Megan, Racquel (Jarret), Hadley, Zoey and Jenavieve; and his siblings, Christine Musselman (Jack), Gary Ackley (Daina), Gail Ketola (Bill), Guy Ackley (Kathy) and Denise McLaren.
