He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Maureen Brown, Brian Ahearne (Wendy), Patrick Ahearne (Becky), Andrew Ahearne (Lisa), Sean Ahearne (Jenn) and Sue Mullin (Guy); his grandchildren, Nicolas (Dawn), Justin (Tessa), Megan (Isaac), Kelly, Brady, Carter, Ashley (John) and Chloe; his great grandchild MacKenzie; and his siblings, Celestine, Mary Ella, Jim (Diane), Mike (Lorraine), Tom (Lana), Joel (Barb), Claire (Don), Ruthanne (John) and Margaret (Ted). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
