He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Archer and Stella May Archer (Galbraith); his daughter Judy White; and his siblings, Vernon, Larry, Betty Archer and Louise Merrified.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gordon; his daughter Deborah Blust (Joe); and his grandchildren, Cherie Smith, Michelle Blust (Jeff "Smitty"), Smith and Jason Blust (Sarah). He is also survived by two great – grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
