She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelma Cox and Chester Cox; her husband Merle Burd; her son Melvin Burd; and her siblings, Lawrence Cox, Ruth Kidder, Marjorie Ackley, Eva Wilson, Donald Cox and William Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Burd (Sandy), Wilma Livingston (Paul), Susan Burd and Ellen VanGilder (Jim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
