She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie McElroy and Orin McElroy; her son Michael Smith; her husbands, Oscar Smith and Ira Stairs; her brother Thomas McElroy; and her granddaughter Robin Fletcher.
She is survived by: her children, Kris Stairs (David), Cindy Stairs (Richard) and Kerry Smith; and her brother Al McElroy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
