She was predeceased by: her parents, Noice Bartholomew and Irene Bartholomew (Calkins); her husband Michael Appelman; her son Patrick Appelman; and her siblings, Dale Bartholomew (Bev), Lloyd Bartholomew (Kate), Carl Bartholomew (Betty) and Ruth Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Kemp (Jerry), Don Hickey (Karen), Sue Fassett-Musser (David), Carol Simon (Dale) and Jamie Hess (Mark); her sister-in-law Betty Appelman; her nieces, Melinda Appelman and Diana Bennett; and her caregiver Mary Ann Mead. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
