We bid farewell to Janet Rushford (Nashville, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her siblings-in-law, Raymond, Janice Pershinske and Julie Freeman; and her great grandchild Eloise Caitlin Jacques.
She is survived by: her son Mark Rushford (Lisa) of Nashville; her granddaughters, Sarah Kopke (Joe) of Lowell, Jessica Jacques (Philip) of Hudsonville, Elizabeth Jorgenson (Kyle) of Cutlerville and Linsy Gusey (Dawson) of Waterford; her great grandchildren, Zada, Zyler Kopke, Kalvin and Kade Jacques; her siblings, Vance Catlin (Sandra), David Catlin (Ruth) of Florida, Jane Anderson (Tim) of Middleville and Jan Duke (Jimmy) of Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Russell Rushford, Ron Rushford (Vickie Brown), Richard Pershinske, Bob Freeman, Jane Stefanich (Leroy), Jeanne Matchinski and Carolyn Rushford.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nashville Baptist Church (312 Phillips St, Nashville, MI 49073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Janet was very fond of many charities that can be donated to in her memory: Nashville Baptist Church, Nashville, MI, Elara Caring Hospice of Grand Rapids and, Spiritual Care Consultants of Hastings.
