He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy R. Schlundt; his parents, Paul Schlundt and Florence Schlundt (Krueger); his brother Gerald; and his sister-in-law Jeannette Schlundt.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Schlundt (Tina Marie) and Tim Schlundt (Jody); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Madelynn and Isabelle Schlundt; his great grandchild Robin; and his brothers, James Schlundt (Darlene) and David Schlundt (Alice). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
