He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley E. Berkeypile and Betty I. Berkeypile (Andrews); his wife Mary Ann Berkeypile (Laymon); and his siblings, Sherman Berkeypile, Terry Berkeypile and Shirley Berkeypile.
He is survived by: his sons, Donovan D. Berkeypile Jr. and Alan Berkeypile (Denyse); his grandchildren, Spencer, Zoey and Ayva Berkeypile; and his brothers, Roland Berkeypile and David Burk (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
