Darwin K. Brickner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2018, at the age of 84, Darwin K. Brickner (Napoleon, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Harley Moeckel; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Moeckel and Dan Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie J. (Moeckel); his children, Gary Brickner (Jeanne) of Jackson, Terry Brickner (Renelle) of Jackson and Linda Brickner (Thomas) of Saline; his siblings, Tom Brickner (Shirley), Joe Brickner (Sharon) and Bonnie Palmer (Brickner); his sister-in-law Jean Brickner; and also Grimes of Saline. He is also survived by two grandsons and four granddaughters, ten great-grandchildren.

Per Darwin's request, his body has been donated to the University of Michigan, where his brain will be studied to further understand the effects of Alzheimer's disease.
