He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Stieg and Ione Stieg (Powell). He is survived by: his former wife Carole Thompson Stieg; his wife Linda Johnson Stieg; his daughters, Cynthia Foight of Wexford, PA and Julie Ray (Glenn) of Spring Lake, MI; his granddaughters, Piper Cullen (Evan) of Wexford and Abigail Hollingsworth (Tyler) of Wexford; his great grandchild Cooper Cullen; his sisters, Joyce Zwiers (Marv), Cathy Hughes (Dan), Grace Upchurch and Marge Weiler (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Oakley Thompson, Nancy Kemp (Fran) and Mark Johnson (Tammy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, The Hume Home or Hospice of Michigan.
