He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Cavanaugh and Louise Marie Cavanaugh (Aerts); his brother-in-law Bert Gould; and his close friend Barbara Dullard. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Bawks (Ray), Diana Delliger and Patricia Gould; and his nieces and nephews, Sally Leonard (Bill), Steve Bawks (Veronica), Mark Gould (Gloria), Mike Gould (Christina Romanosky), Steven Bonaparte (Jeannie) and Darnell Kaihian (Paul).
