She was predeceased by: her parents, Nunna Houseman and Grace Houseman (Bouwman); her son Richard Alderink; her granddaughter Jamie Ream; and her sister Lois Portenga.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Coles; her children, Donald Alderink (Kathi), Dennis Alderink (Dawn), Debbra Ream (Doug), Diane Morse (Ralph) and Dawn VanBergen (Jim); her stepson Brian Coles; her sister Ardeth Pulsipher; and her pet Maddie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter.
