She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Salazar and Betty Salazar (Wilson); and her sister Suzanna. She is survived by: her children, Tina Harrison, Tonya Gather, Tammy Salazar and Henry Salazar; and her siblings, Anna Calvillo (Felix), Maria Calvillo, Ernesto Calvillo, Domingo Calvillo, Jr., Robert Valadez, Phillip Valadez, Major Wilson and Linda Salazar Torres. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren.
