She was predeceased by: her parents, Uria Barnhart and Bessy Barnhart; and her siblings, John, Millie, Ruben, Ralph, Luke, Marie, Roy and Nell.

She is survived by: her son Don DeLong; her grandchildren, Sarah DeLong and Matthew DeLong; her great grandchild Jazmine DeLong; and also Cindy Mendez.

Memorial contributions can be made to Pound Buddies of Muskegon, as Jerri was a lifelong animal lover who advocated for the rescue and adoption of animals in need.
