With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Justin Kleaveland (Muskegon, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 73. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his stepsons, Gabriel Smith and Christopher Guy Slater; his stepmother Kathleen Kleaveland; his siblings, Patrick Kleaveland (Renee), Andrew Kleaveland, Mary Pituch (Ken), Michael Kleaveland (Sue) and Elizabeth Van Lieshout (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Ben Kleaveland (Anne), Nina Bacow (Kenny), Kira Kleaveland, Kate Kleaveland (Jeff Dzingle), Patti Castelli (Pete), Drew Kleaveland (Kim), Tim Pituch (Eugenia), Jeff Pituch (Emma), Britton Kleaveland (Josie), Tyler Kleaveland, Daly Kleaveland, Martha Van Lieshout, Emma Jones (Mitch) and Nick Van Lieshout; and his stepsiblings, Debra Kendall, Steve Kendall (Chandra), Julie Dawson (Chad), Scott Kendall (Lyn), Rob Kendall (Amy), Abbey and Brittany.

“Cont. Another fond memory is of Tim and my father “Uncle Jim” fishing and bird hunting together. They were soulmates in this regard. And anyone lucky enough to be soulmates with my father was lucky enough. Finally, I visited Barbie and Tim a couple of weeks ago. Before I left I played my guitar and sang a few songs. Among them was Ripple by The Greatful Dead. Turns out it was one of his favorites and was my father’s very favorite. Soulmates on so many levels. Peace of Christ Tim. Jay Fagan”

“My condolences to Barbie and all his family and friends. As I recall, 20+ years ago Tim and I competed at the Fagan Family Reunion at the Fenner Road house for a competitive game of horseshoes. His partner was Bob Fagan and mine was Tom Fagan. So with Tim and I standing at one end we threw shoes to the fun and delight of only ourselves….oh and our partners Bob and Tom. The games went on and on and for decades we each looked for our foursome to get together and throw those shoes. Fun! Jay”
