He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Stafford and Mae Stafford of Hart, MI; and his siblings, Charles, Clarence Stafford, Pauline Moll and Linda Shepherd.

He is survived by: his wife Ethel Fenner (Mickey); his children, Tom, Mai Stafford, Debra Mosier (Lynn) and Diana Timmer (David); his grandchildren, Linda Stafford, Katie Reeves, Meredith Muehlhausen (Henry), Tammy Buitron (Freddy), Lydia Rodriguez, Dylan Timmer and Davis Timmer (Annie); and his siblings, Samuel, Raymond, Evelyn Blondeau, Maebelle Brooks (Arlen) and Carolyn Thiele. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
