He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Klemp and Mary Klemp (Ouwerkerk); and his brother Tom Klemp. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Klemp of Spring Lake; his children, Meagan Gassmann (Michael) of Norton Shores, Crispin Klemp (Michele Forster) of Grand Rapids and Sander Klemp (Annie Fish) of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Teddy Gassmann (Tatum Klemp) and Taylor Brink; his siblings, Mary Klemp-Hintz (Michael) of Minnesota and Mark Klemp (Jan) of Laurium, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Boyd (DeVere) of Grand Haven, Claudia Phipps (Dan) of Grand Haven and John Zuidema (Kathy) of Grand Haven. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
