She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Joan, Lyle Robinson, Martha Downs and Mae Vinton. She is survived by : her children, Cayden, Trenton, Halie and Layla; her parents, Jennifer Emory and Michael Leighton; her siblings, Chris, Sean, Brandon Vetter, Eric, Katheryn Emory Britney and Gus Layton; her grandfather Jack Vinton; and the father of her children Jason Grimshaw. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444).
