He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Okerlund and Joan Okerlund (Schulz); and his brother Jeff Okerlund. He is survived by: his wife Robin Lager; his children, Jamie Griswold, Mike Okerlund (Melinda), Steve Lager (Lisa) and Sarah Hansen (Dan); his grandchildren, Trinity, Trenton, Lillian, Steven, Norah, Juliah, Gabriellah, Ceciliah, Jon and Joscelyn; and his siblings, John Okerlund (Susan) and Carol Okerlund. He is also survived by three nieces.
